Navin Nischol Veteran actor Died Passed Away Dead Expires
Popular Indian actor, Navin Nischol, who made his Bollywood debut with ‘Saawan Bhadon’ in the early 70’s, passed away today.Known for his roles in Buddha Mil Gaya, The Burning Train and the more recent Khosla Ka Ghosla actor Navin Nischol passed away in Mumbai today [19th March]. The reason behind his death is due to cardiac arrest.
Popularly known as Poor Man’s Rajesh Khanna the actor made his Bollywood debut in 1970 film Sawan Bhadon that turned out to be a super hit giving his career a shape. Navin Nischol is the first gold medalist to be graduated from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.The actor was first married to Neelu Kapoor, sister of Shekar Kapur before divorcing her to marry Geetanjali, a divorcee of two children. He also had a successful stint with small screen medium too.
On hearing this news Madhur Bhandarkar had to say this; “sad to hear about the demise of Navin Nischol, very good actor and a great human being, the industry will miss him. May his soul rest in peace.”
