Bob Christo Died Dead Passed Away Bollywood Villain
On a hospital bed in Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology on Saturday, Bollywood’s ‘firang’ villain in more than 200 movies didn’t look one bit like a 70-year-old who had suffered a massive heart attack a few hours ago. But the smile on Bob Christo’s face didn’t mean he was in denial. He told Bangalore Mirror: “I just want my autobiography to be released before I die. I also want to do a few comedy roles and win hearts.”
Christo was shifted to the hospital around 5 am on Saturday from his friend’s apartment in Vasanthnagar after he complained of severe chest pain. Dr C N Manjunath, director of Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, said, “Emergency angiogram revealed a 90 per cent block in his left anterior descending artery. Angioplasty and stenting procedure have been done. He will have to be in the hospital for another three to four days.” Christo didn’t like the thought of living in the hospital for three days.
He said, “I am feeling much better now. But last night I thought I had kicked the bucket. I want to eat something now.” On knowing that the doctors said he could only drink juice, he complained, “I have not had anything from morning. Life is not easy. Not being able to have food is the biggest torture. I can’t live without cheese, chicken and papaya. At least, give me a piece of papaya.”
