Daniel Stani Reginald Facebook Tosha Thakkar Raped Killed

In a gruesome act of violence, a 24-year-old Indian student was found raped and murdered in Australia. The girl’s 19-year-old neighbour has been arrested.

The girl’s body was stuffed inside a suitcase near a canal in Sydney last week.

The victim has been identified as Tosha Thakkar who was studying accounting at the Sydney college of business and IT.

On March 11, construction workers found the suitcase containing the woman's body in a water canal near Meadow bank and they alerted police.

The neighbour has been identified as Daniel Stani-Reginald. However, the police are yet to come out clear on whether Tosha's murder was racially motivated.According to Yadu Singh, President of Council of Indian Australians, this attack should not be termed as a racist attack.Meanwhile, Indian authorities are assuring that they are closely following and monitoring it and that they will ensure justice is done.
